My wife and I went to Matsumae to see its castle and cherry blossoms. The castle is one and only in Hokkaido and this area is famous for a variety of cherry blossoms. The place was filled with lots of visitors and historic things which proved that this area was prosperous in Edo era. We enjoyed cherry blossoms viewing and foods sold at branch shops.
